Most range claims are measured in ideal conditions. Most cost claims quietly leave something out. This is what an electric scooter actually costs to keep on the road.
Charging
A full charge draws roughly 2 units of electricity. At ₹8 a unit that is about ₹16, giving 60–110 km depending on the model. Charge overnight at home and you will rarely think about it again.
What affects your real range
Rider weight, pillion, tyre pressure, how hard you accelerate and how hilly your route is. Expect the lower end of the quoted range in summer traffic with a pillion, and the upper end on a steady solo commute.
Servicing and wear
Brake pads, tyres and an annual check. There is no oil to change. Keep the tyres at the pressure on the sticker and you will get noticeably more range as well as longer tyre life.
